Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and analytical Contracts Analyst to join our client’s team in Calgary, AB. his role is crucial in ensuring that our contracts are executed efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. In this role your responsibility is to provide life cycle management of Projects Contracts from creation, revision, and maintenance to close-out. You will execute Contracting & commercial strategies and plans for large and/or complex contracts in alignment with key business objectives, and to support the SRP SCM/PMT/CMT teams in adding value to the Project.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Expression of Interest (EOI) / Request for Information (RFI) and evaluation criteria in support of scope specific bidders prequalification

  • Coordinate the evaluation of EOI, Bidders prequalification and shortlisting

  • Coordinate the development of Bid Evaluation Criteria and Plan (BECP) with the Project Management Team (PMT) and Construction Management Team (CMT)

  • Develop the appropriate commercial compensation structure for the Scope of Work (SOW) and conform the Request for Proposals (RFP)

  • Issue the RFP and Manage the Bid process (as the Single / Focal Point of Communications with Bidders); • Coordinate the evaluation process per BECP

  • Develop and Prepare negotiation plans and Conduct negotiations

  • Prepare award recommendations and Route for appropriate financial and commit authority approvals; • Issue Awards, onboard contractors and coordinate Kick-off meetings (with PMT/CMT)

  • Conform the contracts and Route for execution by authorized personnel

  • Prepare Contracts Briefs (Terms of Reference); 4. Execute Post Award Contracts Management (for contracts assigned to the incumbent) and support the management of Contractors Relationships

  • Compile data to assist in periodic reviews of Contractors' performance (Performance Scorecards/Metrics) against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Support management of Contractors NCRs in accordance with the NCR process

  • Manage and Report on approved contract values (e.g. up-to-date Current Contract Value, Forecast Contract Value Vs. Approved Contract Value) and spend against Approved Contract Value to ensure governance.

  • Manage the upkeep of Contracts Change Logs, Issues and Disputes Management Register (IDMR), disputes and claims mitigation plans;

  • Route Change Orders, and Amendments for approval per process and signing authority guidelines;

  • Work with Contractors to resolve day-to-day issues and expedite resolution;

  • Contracts Close-out and contractors off-boarding, and coordinate Contractors performance feedback per the Supplier Lifecycle Management requirements.

  • Ensure all Contracting documentation is stored in the appropriate Contract Management Systems.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • Undergrad degree in a SCM, Technical or Business discipline (post-secondary education) preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of overall experience; Minimum 2 years of experience on projects

  • A background in projects is an asset.
