Construction Site Supervisor
Adecco is actively seeking a Construction Site Supervisor on behalf of a reputable and growing client in the construction industry, based in Saskatoon, SK. This is a full-time position ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in multi-family residential or commercial construction.
As the Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing all on-site activities from project start to completion. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient job site while ensuring high standards of quality and schedule adherence. Your role will include overseeing subcontractors, coordinating materials, ensuring compliance with building codes, and communicating effectively with head office and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Maintain an organized and professional job site, including managing the construction office setup and demolition upon project completion.
Enforce adherence to the company’s safety policies among employees, subcontractors, and contractors.
Prepare, manage, and maintain the project schedule; proactively identify issues and provide solutions to avoid delays.
Operate within the approved project budget and request/order materials as required to keep work on track.
Coordinate utility service installs by liaising with appropriate companies.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure subcontractor accountability.
Work closely under the direction of Head Office, ensuring smooth communication and timely reporting across departments.
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within multi-family residential or commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, project specifications, and blueprints.
A solid understanding of provincial building codes, specifically those relevant to Saskatchewan.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and uphold quality standards on-site.
A calm, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
