CNC Operator

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and safety-conscious CNC Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts according to job specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.

• Pay Rate: $28.00/hour

• Location: Edmonton, AB

• Shift: Monday to Friday

• Job type: Long term contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CNC lathes and mills per job specifications

• Set up equipment, tools, and fixtures for each job

• Use gauges and measuring tools to verify tolerances (+/- .001)

• Read and interpret technical drawings

• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance

• Document production activity and maintain a clean work area

• Assist with machine adjustments and minor repairs

• Communicate clearly with team members and report issues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (Trade Certification preferred)

• Familiar with Fanuc, G-codes, and M-codes

• Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools

• Able to perform basic math and understand technical documentation

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
