CNC Machinist

Adecco is actively seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a full-time position in Port Colborne, ON, offering a competitive salary of $30-$32 per hour. This role involves operating both conventional and CNC machines, programming with the assistance of a Programming & Tooling Manager and ensuring high-quality production standards.

• Pay Rate: $30-$32/hour.

• Location: Port Colborne, ON

• Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am

• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

• Operate and maintain conventional and CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.

• Assist in programming tasks with the support of the Programming & Tooling Manager.

• Conduct inspections and complete dimensional reports to ensure product accuracy.

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and extend machine life.

• Supervise and guide apprentices in their development and daily tasks.

• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• Relevant post-secondary training, such as COQ 429A, is mandatory.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a machinist in a related field is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
