Channel Marketing Assistant
Adecco is actively seeking a Channel Marketing Assistant to join our client’s dynamic team in Scarborough, ON. This full-time position offers an annual salary of $60,000. The successful candidate will assist the marketing team in executing short-term marketing programs, provide administrative support, and ensure smooth communication between various departments, third-party vendors, and customers. - Assist the Marketing Team in executing short-term marketing plans and programs.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints via email and phone.
- Support the sales team with presentations, samples, sell sheets, in-store demonstrations, recipe books, and other marketing materials.
- Provide typing and translation assistance in English and Chinese for internal and external communication.
- Maintain marketing databases, including catalogs, key codes, NPD forms, legal documents, pictures, trend articles, competitive information, and customer/prospect files.
- Coordinate marketing fulfillment duties, including direct mail, packages, letters, catalogs, and sales literature.
- Assist with editing newsletters, advertisements, labels, and catalogs.
- Coordinate communication between the marketing team and third-party agencies, vendors, and designers (e.g., social media agencies, PR, and design teams).
- Help with packaging material development, artwork creation, and consumer communication artwork.
- Liaise with international vendors to source Point of Purchase (POP) materials.
- Assist in food shows, cooking demonstrations, promotions, community service events, and internal meetings.
- Collaborate with Zone Marketing to update and maintain the company website.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the marketing team.
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or working towards such a degree.
- Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in the CPG industry is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Bilingual in English and Chinese (written and verbal) is required.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic understanding of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
- Other Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
