Adecco is currently seeking a Buyer for a 12-month contract in Ajax, ON, offering $33–$36 per hour. In this role, you will support key aerospace programs by managing supplier communications, tracking cost impacts, and ensuring change management processes are followed. This is a hands-on position where your expertise in purchasing, supply chain, and project coordination will directly contribute to program success.
  • Pay rate: $33-$36/hour.
  • Location: Ajax, ON
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
  • Job type: 12-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting project schedule compliance and monitoring pre-release activities.
  • Representing Purchasing in Change Board meetings: recording upcoming changes, highlighting risks, and contributing to decision-making.
  • Attending Change Board flow-down meetings to report on supplier communications and acknowledgments.
  • Monitoring supplier flow-downs and ensuring updated export packages are shared and acknowledged.
  • Maintaining the Program Change Purchasing Database to ensure accurate tracking and communication to Buyers and Industrialization Project Leads.
  • Serving as the Purchasing focal point for Program Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation.
  • Coordinating the completion of Safran Landing Systems Change Management Process steps.
  • Consolidating cost impacts of changes within the development program cost model.
  • Supporting tracking of Recurring (RC) and Non-Recurring Costs (NRC).
  • Maintaining a customer requirements database flow-down status and updates.
  • Leading various internal meetings and maintaining associated action registers and minutes.
  • Supporting reporting and tracking activities for the Program Purchasing Team, including additional project-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Aerospace or a related industry, ideally in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Project Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, College Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
