British Columbia Land Surveyor (BCLS)
Adecco is actively seeking a British Columbia Land Surveyor (BCLS) on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking, innovative company specializing in the legal oil and gas survey sector. This full-time role, based in Vancouver, BC, or Fort St. John, BC, offers a competitive salary of $125,000 - $150,000 per annum. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BCLS to manage and deliver high-quality survey projects, working with field crews, project leads, and clients to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

- Overseeing survey projects from start to finish, ensuring that all phases of the project are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations.
- Working alongside field crews, drafters, plan checkers, and fellow Land Surveyors to ensure the accuracy and quality of survey data.
- Engaging with clients to fully understand their project scope and objectives. You will also provide detailed project estimates and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drafting and calculating well site, pipeline, as built, and legal plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensuring that all survey data and deliverables meet the company’s rigorous quality standards, performing regular checks and validations.
- Using your expertise in Land Survey drawings and Western Canadian Land Tenure systems to produce accurate and reliable deliverables.
- You will have the flexibility to work unsupervised from home using CORE’s virtual system, while maintaining close communication with project teams and clients to ensure successful project execution.
- Adapting to changing deadlines and project demands, remaining flexible and proactive to meet evolving client needs and project requirements.
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- 5-10 years of experience in legal oilfield surveys. Experience in construction surveying will be considered an asset.
- A degree or diploma in Geomatics from a recognized Technical College or University.
