Adecco Professional Staffing is currently partnering with an established and stable client looking to find top talent for a fantastic Bilingual Customer Service Representative job opening in Markham, ON.  To be considered for this opportunity, you must bring at least 2-3 years experience, preferably in a corporate or call center setting to the table alongside a drive to support corporate and consumer clients; both over the phone and via email/chat. This active opportunity will start out as an 8 month temporary hire with a very high potential to extend or possibly become something more down the road.  This open Bilingual Customer Service job opening in Markham, ON is available NOW so please read on if you are intrigued.  KEY TO NOTE - the working hours are would be Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm (no evenings or weekends!) and no sales; it will also be a hybrid of remote (2 days) and in-office (3 days).

Responsibilities for the Bilingual Customer Service Representative job opening in Markham, ON may include, but are not limited to;

  • Responds to varied volumes of incoming calls in a professional and diligent manner, in both English and French

  • Answer questions, inquiries and deal with problems/issues in a positive and time sensitive way

  • Clientele can be a mix of business professionals, consumers and retailers

  • Process customer orders in an order entry system; assist customers in walking through online orders steps/process as well where applicable 

  • Respond to email inquiries, chat and orders in both English and French

  • Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure continued business partnerships, retention and growth

  • Please note that this is NOT A SALES position

Qualifications for the Bilingual Customer Service Representative job opening in Markham, ON include;

  • At least 2-3 years experience in a Customer Service position, ideally call center or corporate however flexible on this for the right fit

  • Bilingual (French/English) - written and spoken in both official languages is a must

  • Related post-secondary education or relevant work-related experience (asset to those with pharmaceutical, medical device, or general medical industry experience (please note this is in a corporate office setting)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; these roles are in a smaller team setting so the fit is key

  • Ability to control multiple priorities, to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong MS Office skills and ability to learn other PC applications and programs
