Adecco is currently hiring a full-time friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Automotive Service Attendant to join our client’s dynamic team in Toronto, ON In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers arriving for service, assist with vehicle check-ins, maintain lot organization, and support parts handling and delivery. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the automotive industry, customer service, and operational excellence.

  • Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

  • Location: Toronto, ON

  • Shift: Day shifts | Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturdays

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 1-year contract with possibility of extension

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with inquiries, and ensure a welcoming experience

  • Vehicle Check-In: Receive and inspect vehicles for damage, verify condition, and record customer concerns

  • Lot Organization: Park vehicles in an orderly manner, maintain cleanliness, and ensure security of vehicle keys

  • Order & Inventory Support: Assist with parts receiving, allocation, and delivery to technicians; maintain organized stock

  • Documentation: Enter order details into ERP systems (SAP or similar) and prepare internal work orders

  • Vehicle Preparation: Support vehicle delivery processes, including fueling and cleaning demo/showroom vehicles

  • Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and company standards

  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support service operations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive service, parts handling, or industrial supply sector

  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s License (minimum 3 years) with a clean driving abstract

  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer proficiency (email, order entry, inventory systems)

  • H2S Alive and Standard First Aid certifications considered an asset

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
