Associate Researcher

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time curious and driven Associate AI Researcher to support ongoing research and development in the application of AI algorithms for software and system optimization. As part of a collaborative research team, you will contribute to algorithm implementation, integration, and evaluation, while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and applying AI/ML algorithms to improve performance and efficiency of software systems.

• Collaborate with senior researchers on the implementation and testing of research models and solutions.

• Run experiments and evaluate the performance of algorithms using internal data and public test sets.

• Help integrate research outputs into larger systems or development pipelines.

• Stay up to date with current research trends, papers, and technologies in AI and systems optimization.

• Contribute to documentation and presentation of research results within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

• Understanding of machine learning concepts and common algorithms.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) is preferred.

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, research-focused environment.

• Hands-on projects or coursework involving AI, deep learning, or data analysis.

• Familiarity with system performance optimization or profiling tools.

• Internships or research assistant experience in academic or industry settings.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
