Asset Strategy Specialist
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly analytical and proactive Asset Strategy Specialist to develop and implement strategies for optimizing asset performance, lifecycle management, and operational efficiency for our client, a leader in the oil and gas industry, in Fort McMurray, AB. Responsibilities:
Develop asset strategies following company’s Manage Equipment Strategy process to optimize risk and cost.
Leverage RCM and Streamlined RCM assessments to identify the appropriate mitigation activities to manage the risk and meet performance requirements throughout the asset lifecycle.
Work with Operations, Maintenance, Technical, and Engineering & Reliability personnel to ensure asset strategies are continuously improved, robust, and effective.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering. Preference is given to applicants with a background in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) equipment.
Five or more years of industry experience, preferably in Oil Sands, Refinery, or Hydrocarbon Processing Facilities
Possess skills in the use and application of GE-APM or other commercial strategy software. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (mainly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SAP.
Well-developed critical thinking and collaboration skills, with an ability to apply logic and challenge assumptions while working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Strong analytical skills including analyzing statistical data, identify limits of analysis approaches, and the ability for trending and analysis to drive conclusions and recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical report writing
Knowledge of API 580/581, API 571, and RCM2/3 is an asset. Knowledge of damage mechanisms and failure modes for machinery and E&I equipment an asset.
Must hold a Professional Engineering designation and be registered, or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
