Adecco is currently hiring several full-time skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join our client’s manufacturing team in Mississauga, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating parts and units in accordance with product specifications. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a passion for quality workmanship.

  • Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

  • Location: Mississauga, ON

  • Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm OR 3:00pm – 11:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations according to product specifications.

  • Perform PTH (Pin Through Hole) component insertion and manual electronic assembly on printed circuit boards.

  • Use hand and power tools to carry out precise assembly tasks.

  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and performance standards.

  • Set up and calibrate mechanical assembly tools used during the production process.

  • Identify units that do not meet specifications and perform necessary repairs.

  • Verify mechanical dimensions and ensure accuracy throughout the assembly process.

  • Perform basic soldering tasks and apply appropriate torque when required.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and wear required personal protective equipment.

  • Assist with other related duties as needed to support production goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma OR equivalent work experience.

  • CGP Clearance is mandatory for this role

  • Experience in manufacturing or electronics assembly would be ideal.

  • Good hand-eye coordination with high attention to detail.

  • Basic computer and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift and lift up to 35-50 lbs.

  • Basic soldering experience is an asset.

  • Must be flexible and adaptable, willing to perform tasks outside regular duties to support team goals.

  • Must be safety-conscious and able to follow PPE requirements

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
