Assembly Picker/Packer - 2 Week Contract (Day Shift)

Adecco is currently hiring for a Assembly Picker/Packer for a short-term assignment within a clean room environment in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will be responsible for handling small parts, opening pouches, performing basic tests, and repackaging items. If you are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting, this position is for you!

• Salary: $20.42/hour

• Location: Ottawa, ON

• Job Type: Full-time – Temporary (2-3 week assignment)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6:30AM - 6:30PM (Rotating 4x4 shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Open pouches and inspect parts for accuracy and quality

• Perform basic testing based on established procedures

• Sort and organize small parts for assembly or packaging

• Repackage tested parts into correctly labeled boxes

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area

• Adhere to all safety, quality, and productivity standards

• Wear required clean room gowning and protective gear at all times

• Report any product discrepancies or quality issues to the supervisor

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

• Canadian high school diploma or WES equivalency

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately

• Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Good hand-eye coordination

• Willing to comply with clean room protocols (gowning, mask, etc.)

• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
