Area Manager in Training - Retail

Are you a results-driven Area Manager in Training looking to gain hands-on leadership experience and prepare for a future Area Manager role? 

Adecco is actively seeking ambitious Area Managers in Training to join our client’s retail teams in Saskatoon and Regina, SK. In these full-time role, you’ll gain hands-on experience managing multi-unit operations, supporting Store Managers, and driving sales performance. With mentorship from senior leaders, you’ll develop the skills needed to advance into a full Area Manager position.

Responsibilities:  

• Oversee store operations and ensure alignment with business and financial objectives.

• Support and coach Store Managers to meet sales and profit targets while fostering team growth.

• Lead safety and compliance initiatives across all assigned stores.

• Analyze sales, revenue, and operational performance metrics to identify improvement areas.

• Respond promptly to store-level issues and provide strategic direction or escalation as needed.

• Lead training programs to develop management talent and promote company culture.

• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain high standards for customer experience, safety, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–7 years of related experience.

• 3–5 years in a multi-unit retail or operations leadership role.

• CannaSell Certification and a clean police record check.

• Strong communication, leadership, and delegation skills.

• Excellent business math and analytical abilities (percentages, discounts, etc.).

• Proficiency in MS Office and internet-based tools.

• Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate team members across locations.

• Willingness to travel regionally between locations.
