Adecco in partnership with our client is currently hiring a full-time experienced and detail-oriented Alert Management Specialist who is bilingual in Spanish/English to work for our client who is committed to ensuring the safety, security, and efficiency of their operations in Calgary, AB. This role provides a professional and timely service for our client’s customers. The Alert Management Specialists manage safety incidents efficiently and conscientiously from onset through to resolution.

  • Pay Rate: $47.000 per year 

  • Location: Calgary, AB or fully remote

  • Shift: Sundays 6:30am – 3pm and Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm

  • Job type: Long Term | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the safety of our customers' personnel.

  • Manage emergency alerts and follow escalation protocols professionally, with efficiency.

  • Respond to emergency situations with calm and confidence.

  • Provide basic troubleshooting and technical support when an alert is triggered.

  • Monitor weather and road conditions where customers are working alone to keep them informed of potential issues.

  • Provide excellent customer service. 

  • Maintain records and prepare reports.

Qualifications:

·         Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • Customer service or dispatch experience (min 5 years)

  • Fluent written & spoken English is required.

  • Fluent / native speaker level in written & spoken French OR Spanish is a hard requirement.

  • Can pass a criminal background check.

  • When working remotely, employee has a separate space to work from that has no distractions to facilitate staying engaged, alert and ready to handle emergency situations. Employee is expected to be at desk the whole shift.

  • Consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic to handle a high volume of client interactions with diligence, professionalism, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to stay calm and decisive in stressful situations.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong computer literacy, ability to monitor alerts on multiple different screens and switch between portals and chats. Experience with Teams and Outlook an asset. Ability to demonstrate proficiency utilizing technology to maintain organized records, access information, and manage client accounts or inquiries, ensuring data accuracy and security.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and efficiently, taking initiative to complete tasks and projects with minimal supervision.

  • Detail Oriented. Demonstrates the ability to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data, documents, and processes. Pays careful attention to the finer points and ensures thoroughness in every aspect of work, resulting in quality outcomes and minimal margin for error.

  • Demonstrated ability to proficiently handle concurrent tasks and adeptly oversee projects with flexible timelines.

  • Demonstrate the capacity to adjust and accommodate variations in work hours or schedules as needed to meet organizational demands, for example occasionally picking up a night shift to fill illness.

  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges, make quick decisions when required, and implement solutions that align with organizational goals.

  • Valid First Aid and CPR are an asset.

  • Can not be combined with other part-time job.
