Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days in office / 3 days remote
Salary: $55-60K annually, plus health spending account
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
About the Role
We are a small and growing team of legal professionals looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to be the operational backbone of our practice. This is a career administrative role—ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys keeping things organized, managing multiple moving pieces, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. This position supports a close-knit team of four, with growth to five, in a collaborative, fast-paced but not high-pressure environment. Our office is informal, business-casual – dynamic, lots of hard work, and a clear boundary between work and personal life.
Who This Role Is (and Is Not)
This role is not designed for someone seeking a path into a paralegal, law clerk, or legal professional role. We are deliberately looking for a strong, experienced administrative professional who takes pride in being a reliable, detail-oriented assistant and wants to build a long-term career in administration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to a small team of legal professionals
Manage and prioritize multiple tasks as they “trickle in” throughout the day (email, requests, follow-ups)
Keep inboxes, task lists, and workflows organized and moving forward
Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and calendars
Prepare, format, and organize documents and correspondence
Handle general office administration and light legal administrative tasks (training provided)
Maintain files, records, and internal systems with strong attention to detail
Proactively identify what needs to be done and get it done—no micromanagement
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in an Administrative Assistant role
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a steady stream of small and large tasks
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
A structured, methodical working style—you like clearing your task list as you go
Comfortable supporting multiple people and adjusting to changing priorities
Professional, pleasant, and collaborative communication style
Tech-savvy with standard office tools (Outlook, Word, PDFs, scheduling tools)
