Adecco is currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant for a temporary full-time position in Ottawa, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring clients receive timely and accurate insurance funding by coordinating with agencies, maintaining documentation, and supporting internal teams throughout the funding process.

  • Salary: $24.04/hr

  • Location: Ottawa, ON

  • Type of Contract: Temporary | Full-time

  • Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with insurance agencies to obtain and renew funding authorizations

  • Monitor funding expiry dates and initiate renewals proactively

  • Document all communications and clinical notes in the EMR system

  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information

  • Communicate with physician offices to obtain required documentation

Profile Sought:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Experience in healthcare administration or insurance coordination

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently

  • Post-secondary education in Health Administration or a related field (preferred)

  • Certification in Medical Office Administration or Health Information Management (preferred)
