Adecco is currently hiring a full-time a Administrative Assistant to join our client’s office team in Mississauga, ON. In this role you will be responsible for supporting transportation and logistics operations by scheduling services, processing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shift: Mondays to Fridays | 8am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities:
Schedule transportation services, plan routes, and assign drivers.
Develop and implement improved transportation administration policies and procedures.
Process shipping documents, including bills of lading.
Manage budgets and process purchase orders and payments.
Monitor drivers’ logbook entries and assist with payroll administration.
Act as a liaison between managers and drivers, collaborating with other departments to optimize transportation services.
Prepare schedules, track progress of orders, and report on delivery status.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in processing shipping documents, orders, and payments.
Solid knowledge of transportation industry regulations.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
