Job Title: Cash Applications Coordinator (Maternity Leave Contract)
Location: On-site – Downtown Toronto, ON
Job Type: Temporary Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
Pay Rate: $20-22/hr

About the Opportunity
A leading organization in the automotive and financial services sector is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cash Applications Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave. This is a full-time, on-site role located in downtown Toronto and easily accessible by transit. The successful candidate will be confident, self- driven and detailed while they play a key role in maintaining the integrity of cash application processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately apply incoming payments using SAP

  • Process high volumes of checks, wires, credit cards, and Floorplan funds

  • Reconcile open or problematic receivables using data from multiple sources

  • Maintain accurate records in various tools such as SAP and Salesforce

  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment and receivable issues

  • Generate and analyze reports related to cash applications

  • Process outbound flooring requests to floorplan companies

  • Set up new floorplan payment methods for dealer accounts

  • Generate and distribute floorplan-related reports

  • Follow up with floorplan partners on aged receivables

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders for account validation and issue resolution

  • Adhere to internal policies and procedures

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Manager

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of experience processing and posting incoming payments; cash applications, AR etc.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)

  • Experience with SAP, V1, and/or Salesforce is an asset
