Accounts Receivable Analyst

Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our client’s finance team in Ajax, ON. This role offers a competitive salary of $27/hour. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with company standards and IFRS.

• Pay rate: $27/hour.

• Location: Ajax, ON

• Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all billing requests are submitted with the required backup and approval in a timely manner.

• Communicating billing rejections to the business clearly and promptly.

• Processing AR transactions and billings for the sale of OEM charging plans, Home products, and Commercial solutions, as well as timely payment applications, in accordance with policies and procedures.

• Generating and submitting customer account statements according to month-end deadlines.

• Maintaining clear communication with business owners regarding the status of billing requests and outstanding collections.

• Preparing monthly AR reconciliations and aging reports to ensure timely collection of receivables; liaising with customers and other departments to resolve concerns and discrepancies.

• Documenting, requesting approvals, and booking reserves for bad debt accounts when applicable.

• Providing supplementary monthly reports to various stakeholders.

• Supporting external and internal audit requirements, preparing schedules, and providing backup support for selected samples in a consistent format.

• Developing and maintaining ICFR documentation of processes and process maps.

• Creating desk procedures according to standard Accounting Services format and saving them in a centralized location.

Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
