Accounts Payable Clerk

Adecco is urgently hiring Accounts Payable Clerk with strong Accounts Payable Background for our client, a reputable  firm in Saskatoon, SK. To qualify for this role, you must have at least 2-3 years of Canadian accounting experience.

• Location: Saskatoon, SK 

• Shifts: 8 AM- 4:30 PM 

• Job type: Full-time | Temp (6 months)

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Accounts Payable Support: Collecting vendor statements, processing invoices, communicating with vendors, and reviewing AP aging and RNI reports

• Account Reconciliations: Bank, Accounts Payable, and other reconciliations

• General Ledger Entries: Processing entries and ensuring accuracy

• PST Self-Assessments and Filings: Managing tax filings

• Stats Canada Surveys: Completing required surveys

• Miscellaneous Projects: Assisting with various tasks as needed

Key Skills :

• Excellent communication skills (must be able to engage with vendors effectively)

• Native-level English proficiency (preferred, or very close to it)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• Previous accounting experience (or related field) preferred

 Requirements and Qualifications: 

• Must be legally able to work and reside within Canada.

• Accounting Diploma or Certificate

• Strong skills in MS Office  specifically in MS Excel and accounting software (SAGE, Quickbooks)

• Typing Skills (40 WPM)

• Advanced bookkeeping practices

• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Able to work independently and within a team environment

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Willingness to learn and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines

• Experience in Caseware, Quickbooks Online, Xero, or HubDoc, considered an asset

• Payroll experience is an assets
