Accounting Operations Analyst

Our client, a small and fast-paced business with under $10M in annual revenue, is looking for a dedicated Accounting Operations Analyst to join their lean, dynamic and casual team. This is a full-time, temporary position with strong potential to become permanent, offering growth, stability, and hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Full-Time: Fully on-site near Lakeshore and Leslie
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay rate: $25-30/hr plus 4% vacation pay on top of this; paid weekly

About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounting Operations Analyst will support daily accounting functions, including but not limited to:

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Performing daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks

• Assisting with reconciliations and general ledger entries

• Supporting month-end processes as needed

• Maintaining organized financial records and documentation

• Learning and navigating the company’s ERP system

• Using advanced Excel skills to analyze and manage financial data

• Other duties as assigned and in working for a smaller team.

About You — Skills & Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who bring:

• At least 3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

  • Experience in a small-to-medium sized company is preferred

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes (experience with Acumatica is an asset)

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

• Ability to thrive in a hands-on, adaptable, non-rigid environment

• Proactive mindset with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
