Accountant - Senior

Adecco is actively seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Langley, BC. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $75,000 - $100,000 per annum. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong accounting expertise while contributing to the strategic financial planning of the company.

• Pay Rate: $75k-$100k/year.

• Location: Langley, BC

• Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

• Prepare Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports using QuickBooks Online (QBO).

• Handle weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity statement preparation and filing.

• Oversee payroll processes.

• Conduct reconciliations for banking, CRA, debtors, and creditors.

• Ensure year-end financial compliance is met.

• Assist accounting staff with data entry and other tasks as needed to meet reporting schedules.

• Collaborate on business strategy development.

• Manage cashflow and financial forecasting.

• Participate in budgeting and financial modelling.

• Prepare reports for stakeholders and advise the board and executives.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• Degree in Accounting.

• 5+ years in a similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks Online.

• Willingness to assist the accounting team with various tasks, demonstrating a collaborative attitude.
