Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Receivable Agent to join our clients team for a Temporary position. As an integral part of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing billing adjustments, collection efforts, and ensuring timely payment processing. If you have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service, this role is for you.

  • Pay rate: $23/hour.

  • Location: Edmonton, AB

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Detailed Job Description:

  • Prepare and submit billing adjustments to rectify any discrepancies.

  • Conduct collection calls and send emails to follow up on outstanding invoices.

  • Distribute invoice and statement copies to clients.

  • Set up monthly cash collections using CyberSource.

  • Efficiently process payments and maintain accurate records.

  • Collaborate with the finance team to resolve customer inquiries.

Candidate's Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Accounting or Business is required.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience is required.

  • Strong customer service experience and exceptional communication skills.

  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.

  • Must be local to Edmonton and legally eligible to work in Canada.
