Senior Compliance Specialist

For one of our trusted clients, we are looking for a Senior Compliance Specialist to support end‑to‑end compliance initiatives in a cloud‑based environment.

Main Responsibilities:

·      Perform compliance gap assessments and identify improvement areas across processes and controls

·      Review existing controls and identify areas requiring remediation

·      Map new and updated compliance requirements to existing processes and controls

·      Drive control implementation and support remediation activities

·      Collaborate closely with control owners and cross-functional stakeholders

·      Collect, review, and maintain audit evidence and supporting documentation

·      Ensure compliance artifacts are accurate, up to date, and audit‑ready

·      Support audit readiness activities and contribute to broader compliance initiatives

Requirements:

·      Proven senior-level experience in IT Compliance, Information Security Compliance, Risk Management, or GRC

·      Hands-on experience implementing compliance controls and remediation activities end-to-end

·      Experience working with compliance or security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, C5, BSI IT‑Grundschutz, or similar standards.

·      Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

·      Ability to work independently and drive projects to successful completion

·      Excellent documentation and audit preparation skills

·      Professional working proficiency in English.

·      Experience in cloud, SaaS, or enterprise software environments will be considered an advantage

·      Experience working with SAP environments, SAP Compliance Cockpit, and/or Jira will be considered an advantage
