On behalf of our trusted client - a global leader in railway transport and digital mobility - we are looking for a Reliability Engineer


In this key engineering role, you will contribute to the safety, reliability, and long-term performance of advanced rail solutions. As a RAMS Engineer (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety), you will deliver critical analyses, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and support high-quality project execution.


You will collaborate closely with design, validation, project, and service teams, while coordinating across internal and external stakeholders. Your work will influence technical decisions, support certification processes, and enhance system performance throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Main responsibilities:


• Deliver high-quality RAMS documentation aligned with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives

• Apply a product-oriented mindset to drive continuous improvement and knowledge capitalisation

• Understand and manage reliability requirements (contractual and intrinsic)

• Identify critical failures and key components affecting system performance

• Ensure compliance with APSYS reliability management directives

• Improve reporting standards within projects or assigned clusters

• Drive utilisation of the GSI FRACAS module

• Manage personal workload while tracking progress against project targets

• Improve quality of base data used in reliability analyses (using FRB tools)

• Develop and monitor KPIs at fleet, system, and failure mode levels

• Lead root cause analysis processes and track solution effectiveness through cross-functional FRACAS meetings

• Own and manage reliability growth forecasts based on emerging issues and solution implementation timelines

Main requirements:


• A university degree in Railway Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or Electrical & Mechanical Engineering

• At least 3 years of experience in a technological field, ideally in rolling stock

• Strong computer skills (especially Word and Excel)

• Experience with SAP (considered an advantage)

• English proficiency (intermediate level or higher); Romanian and/or Italian are a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills, including technical and cost evaluation

• Ability to manage technical risks and identify critical issues

• Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a team-player mindset

• Experience in maintenance engineering or depot operations (preferred)

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments

• Strong sense of ownership and discipline in applying engineering processes
