Welder

Our client is looking for experienced Welders (junior, mid level, senior - all welcome to apply) to join their inclusive and supportive team, working full time hours. Please note this role is temporary, however, it could lead to longer term opportunities.

About Us

Our valued client is an industry leading provider, known for supplying materials handling equipment (e.g. trolleys, carts, lifting devices, warehouse systems). The duties of welders within this business (whether senior, mid, or entry-level) would generally align with fabrication and assemble of metal-based products used in industrial and warehousing environments. Their mission is to bring their customers innovation, quality, efficiency, and sustainability to their material handling operations. 

Responsibilities

· Welding & Fabrication of steel and aluminium components; MIG welding

· Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

· Measuring and cutting materials to required dimensions

· Assembling and fitting parts for products like trolleys, cages, lifters, etc.

· Using hand tools and workshop equipment (grinders, saws, drills, etc.)

· Ensuring quality control of welds and finished parts

· Following WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) protocols

· Basic maintenance of welding equipment

· Assist in preparation work (cutting, cleaning metal, grinding)

Your Profile

• Qualification or certificate in Welding (Our client is open to Junior, mid level, and senior experience)
• MIG welding experience is a must!
• Reliable and punctual
• You are driven, and always looking to learn
• A positive and 'Can do' attitude
• Strong attention to details
• Technically minded
• Full working rights are required for this position, with no limitations
• Available to work full time, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.30pm
