Production Operative + Forklift Operator (High Reach & Counterbalance)

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Production Operative with High Reach Forklift experience to join a leading manufacturing operation based in Wetherill Park. This is an ongoing full-time role offering stability, great team culture, and the potential to transition into a permanent position.

You will play an essential role in day-to-day production operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient batching, mixing, and movement of materials.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Mixing and batching products according to batch sheets and work instructions
• Loading powders, liquids, and additives into mixers and processing equipment
• Regular manual handling of bags and containers up to 25kg
• Operating and monitoring mixers, pumps, and basic production machinery
• Conducting in‑process checks to maintain quality and batch accuracy
• Filling finished goods into drums, containers, or packaging
• Labelling, sealing, and preparing completed products for storage or dispatch
• Cleaning mixers, tools, and production areas between batches
• Reporting faults, leaks, or equipment issues promptly
• Following all safety, quality, and site procedures at all times

Your Profile

• Valid High Reach Forklift Licence – essential
• Previous experience in production, batching, mixing, or manufacturing (advantageous)
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg
• Comfortable working in a manual, fast‑paced environment
• Able to follow written instructions and safety guidelines
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Additional Requirements

• Pre‑employment medical, including urine drug & alcohol testing
• PPE: Steel‑cap boots & high‑visibility vest

What’s on Offer

• $43.85 per hour + full-time hours
• Day shift 6am–2pm or 7am–3pm (Monday–Friday)
• Ongoing role with potential for temp‑to‑perm employment
