About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Payroll / Administrative Officer to join the team based in Bayswater North. This is an ongoing temporary position with strong potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, while also providing high-level administrative support to the Managing Director. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of payroll and admin, and likes being a key support within a business.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, while also providing high-level administrative support to the Managing Director. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of payroll and admin, and likes being a key support within a business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Manage and respond to payroll-related enquiries from employees and management
- Maintain, update, and reconcile payroll system data
- Administer company motor vehicles, including liaising with the lease provider
- Maintain accurate records relating to company vehicles and associated transactions
- Prepare payroll and vehicle management reports as required
- Provide administrative support to the Managing Director
- Assist with scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, and general office duties
Your Profile
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in payroll and administration roles
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
