We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing facility based in Para Hills. This role is responsible for operating equipment to manufacture products efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

You will be required to follow batch sheets, packing instructions, and standard operating procedures to ensure products are produced to specification, while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and plant hygiene.

Responsibilities

We are currently hiring for Day, Afternoon and Night shift:

Day shift: 7:00AM – 3:00PM

Afternoon shift: 3:00PM – 11:00PM

Night shift: 11:00PM – 7:00AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate plant and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Follow quality assurance procedures, batch sheets, and work instructions
  • Identify, label, pack, and transport finished products and raw materials
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of plant, equipment, and work areas
  • Report faulty or malfunctioning equipment immediately to relevant personnel
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting and coordination of repairs where required
  • Comply with all safety, health, environmental, and quality standards
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards across the site
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity


Your Profile

  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Forklift Licence is desirable; candidates must have a minimum of 6 months practical forklift experience if licensed
  • Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 20kg
  • Ability to meet equipment safety requirements, including forklift seating limitations
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for data entry is desirable
  • General knowledge of warehousing, logistics, and stock handling processes
  • Experience liaising with transport drivers and understanding basic load and weight requirements
  • Strong understanding of workplace systems, procedures, and quality standards
  • High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety
