Our client who is based in Jandakot is a leading Waste Management Operator and is seeking the services of an experienced allrounder HR Driver
Responsibilities
Location: Jandakot
Employment Type: Casual working full time hours - ongoing for the right candidate
Salary: $38.08hr + pens
Monday to Friday 5am start 8/10hr days - Saturday work maybe available
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our dynamic team. This role involves the safe and efficient delivery and pick up of goods operating the curtain sider truck. You be responsibile for timely deliveries, maintaining the vehicle and providing quality customer service. This isnt just a truck driving position. There is the expectation to assist with bin repairs, some yard duties as well as operation of other waste management truck when this position is quiet.
Key Responsibilities:
- self load/unload using the forklift
- Complete delivery runs on time and maintain accurate documentation
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- General yard duties including repairs to skip bins
- operation of other waste management trucks when times are quiet
Your Profile
Requirements:
- Current HR driver’s license and a minimum of 2yrs recent driving experience
- current forklift ticket
- Good working knowledge of load restraint
- Some welding or tacking experience for bin repairs
- Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
- To be flexible with your duties as this isnt just a truck driving role
- Able to provide a current Fitness to drive cert if successful
- Ability to pass a DAS
