We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join a well‑established manufacturing business based in Para Hills West. This is an ongoing role offering stable hours, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment, working on the construction and maintenance of transportable buildings.



About Us

Our client is a respected and long‑standing manufacturer within the transportable building sector, known for delivering high‑quality projects across Australia. They provide a safe, structured, and fast‑paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork.



Responsibilities

Working Monday to Friday on a day shift (6:00am – 2:06pm), you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and refurbishment of transportable buildings. This is a hands‑on role suited to a qualified Carpenter who enjoys working as part of a production team while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Key duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Installing sheet flooring, wall frames, roof trusses, windows and doors
  • Installing exterior wall cladding, linings, panelling, mouldings and eaves
  • Installing sheet metal roof cladding and specialised flashings
  • Building stairs, ramps, transit walls and other structural items
  • Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications
  • Setting out buildings and establishing levels as per drawings
  • Undertaking repairs, reworks and refurbishments as required
  • Assisting with scaffolding erection and dismantling
  • Operating and maintaining carpentry tools and equipment
  • Assisting other trades and labourers as required
  • Maintaining housekeeping and a safe, organised work area
  • Ensuring all work meets safety, quality and production standards


Your Profile

  • A Carpentry trade qualification or equivalent hands‑on experience
  • Experience working in the building or manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of power tools and carpentry equipment
  • The ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
  • A strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detail
  • A reliable work ethic and a positive, can‑do attitude


If you are an experienced Carpenter looking for stable, long‑term work, this opportunity offers $45 per hour, working Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:06pm, with ongoing, full‑time hours in a stable manufacturing environment located in Para Hills West.
