Senior Financial Controller
Job Description
The Senior Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s financial management, including accounting, reporting, tax, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls. This role ensures financial integrity, supports strategic decision-making, and drives operational efficiency by providing accurate and timely financial information.
Duties 
Include but are not limited to:
•Lead and manage the Finance team (accounting, controlling and credit).
•Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
•Prepare actual, forecasts, budget and monitor performance analysis among financial plans.
•Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
•Manage cash flow, working capital, and forecasting activities.
•Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
•Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
•Liaise with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
•Implement process improvements and financial systems upgrades as needed.
•Present financial reports and insights to senior management and the Board.

Desired Candidate Profile
Skills and abilities 
•Bachelor’s degree in economics (Master’s or MBA preferred).
•Proven experience 7–10 years in accounting/finance roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
•Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Greece GAAP/IFRS).
•Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems (SAP is a must).
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
•Fluent English language, both spoken and written. 
•Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
•High integrity and attention to detail.
•Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Effective communicator with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
