Medical Representative
Job Description
• Builds effective business relationships with Health Care Partners, Key Accounts and Customers.
• Develops strategies to approach potential customers and increase sales.
• Distributes scientific and promotional information to healthcare professionals.
• Implements Sales Action Plans and Key Objective Strategies within his/her territory and manages programs and expense budgets for assigned products.
• Is responsible for the execution of sales and marketing strategies aimed at maximizing market potential and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ensures the correct application of all internal company procedures (CRM system, operational expenses, weekly/monthly planning, reports, etc.).
• Forwards any spontaneous reports of adverse events related to medicines, in accordance with pharmacovigilance procedures.
• Attends mandatory training and educational sessions related to company products and his/her role in promoting them within a defined strategy.
• Ensures understanding and application of the Code of Ethics.
• Participates in meetings and, when necessary, prepares and writes minutes.
• Contributes to Business Development projects.
• Organizes sales and marketing events (AVs, Doctor–Pharmacy meetings, Advisory Boards).
• Provides timely and complete reports on sales activities when required.
• Enhances professional skills by attending relevant training programs.
• Implements digital projects and solutions concerning portfolio products, in coordination with Marketing and the Business Unit.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science/ Business Administration/Marketing
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or health care industry
• Perfect use of MS Office and familiar with CRM systems
• Fluent in English
• Comprehensive understanding of health sciences like epidemiology, biotechnology and pharmacology
• Proven ability to promote and sell products and services
• Integrity and resilience
• Negotiation skills
