Logistics Manager
Job Description
- Plan, organize, and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, distribution, and customer service support.
- Ensure smooth execution of warehouse activities (receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch).
- Coordinate the full order cycle, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability and accuracy.
- Track and analyze KPIs such as OTIF, order accuracy, inventory turnover, transport cost, and productivity.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with external partners (transport companies, suppliers, 3PL providers).
- Handle operational issues, customer complaints, and logistics-related challenges.
- Prepare reports and provide insights to management.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the logistics team.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Procurement).
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Logistics / Supply Chain roles.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, distribution, and transportation management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is considered an asset (preferred).
- Familiarity with WMS and logistics software.
- Very good command of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership skills and team management experience.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
