Finance Operations Specialist

Job Description:
•Evaluate, control, consolidate and report the actual financial statements, results and disclosures in compliance with IFRS, Group guidelines, local GAAP and tax legislation. 
•Ensure accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements to the Group and local tax authorities (statutory) ensuring compliance with IFRS, and local accounting principles 
•Drive the month end close procedures – postings, analytical reviews, commentary, presentations 
•Accountable for the Balance sheet reconciliations deliverable ensuring any open, aged items are actioned in a correct and timely manner 
•Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets 
•Continuous engagement with the Shared service centre, FP&A, Tax, Group reporting, CFO, external auditors and other key senior stakeholders 

Candidate Profile:
•Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) 
•Class A Accountant license from the Economic Chamber of Greece 
•4+ years’ experience in IFRS accounting, reporting, consolidation 
•Proven experience as a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role in a group or multi-entity structure, ideally within the Telecom sector 
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. 
•Demonstrable expertise in IFRS 15, 16 
•Experience with financial consolidation and ERP/reporting systems. 
•Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with senior colleagues 
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities. 
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
