Job Description:
Coordinate daily activities between design contributors and project staff. 
Liaise with the Production Manager on technical design details and package development. 
Assist in reviewing design documentation and verifying compliance with client specifications and statutory requirements. 
Manage adherence to the design schedule and coordinate deliverables in line with project timelines. 
Prepare monthly activity reports and design reports for both internal (Design Manager) and client reviews. 
Contribute to the development and implementation of Design Management Plan (DMP) and document control procedures. 
Represent the JV in client meetings, record minutes, and communicate design decisions. 
Understand key design requirements such as fire safety, acoustics, and environmental certifications (e.g. LEED). 
Support development of design programs, project scopes, and work responsibilities definitions. 
Attend design workshops and review meetings, document changes, and outline deliverables (IFC submissions). 
Manage design subcontractors for design-specific tasks under direction of Design Manager. 
Assist production and commercial teams as needed, ensuring design alignment with broader project goals. 
Ensure observance of health & safety practices, and compliance with company policies and equality standards. 
Required Qualifications & Skills
Degree in design, engineering, or construction-related fields. 
Solid understanding of design and construction stages under a main contractor.
Proficiency in architectural detailing and internal finishes. 
Familiarity with BIM coordination processes—Revit/AutoCAD/ACC tools recommended. 
Strong presentation and communication abilities; active participation in meetings including chairing and minute-taking.
Clear drafting skills for correspondence and documentation. 
Team-oriented approach with a passion for construction and delivering high-quality results.
