The sales executive will drive commercial growth and expand their presence across Europe. This role is ideal for a strategic, results-driven professional passionate about transforming the pharmaceutical supply chain through innovative cloud technology.
Core Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the broader European region.
- Create and implement quarterly and annual sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor insights to optimize sales performance.
Customer Engagement & Business Development
- Identify and build new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the pharmaceutical ecosystem.
- Conduct client-facing meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations—both onsite and remote.
- Nurture and expand relationships with key decision-makers, industry stakeholders, and partner organizations.
- Travel within Europe to support client engagements and strengthen market presence.
Sales Cycle & Pipeline Management
- Manage all stages of the sales process—from lead qualification and proposal development to negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with Solution Consulting and internal teams to create high-impact proposals showcasing SoftGroup’s value.
- Maintain an accurate and detailed sales pipeline, including forecasts, opportunity tracking, and account insights.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve ambitious KPIs and growth targets.
- Provide hands-on support in complex negotiations, deal structuring, and customer strategy development.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with company values and objectives.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- Proven experience in Serialization and Track & Trace or enterprise software within the pharmaceutical supply chain is crucial for the role
- Preferably 3+ years of enterprise solution selling, ideally within SaaS or cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of pharma, life sciences, or logistics regulatory frameworks and processes.
Sales Expertise
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing complex enterprise deals.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise software sales cycles and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Proven record in leading and developing sales teams.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and executive leadership.
- Ability to travel frequently
