Embedded Software Test Analyst

For one of our valued clients, a global leader in automation technology and technical education, we’re currently looking for an Embedded Software Test Analyst to join a rapidly growing team in Sofia.

Mission:
As an Embedded Software Test Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing software requirements, creating and managing test cases using Codebeamer, and evaluating test results to improve product quality and reduce costs. You will also support test planning and work closely with an international, agile team to ensure reliable and high-performing embedded systems.

Responsibilities:

• Review and understand requirements for embedded software and firmware.
• Create clear and effective test cases based on quality standards.
• Manage and run tests using the Codebeamer ALM system.
• Analyze test results to improve product quality and reduce future costs.
• Work closely with a skilled, international, and agile team.
   

Requirements:

• A degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar technical field
• ISTQB Certified Tester—Foundation Level required, Advanced Level is a plus
• Several years experience in software testing, preferably with embedded systems
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and practices
• Experience working with agile methods like SCRUM
• Familiarity with Codebeamer or other ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools
• Good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level)
• Analytical, structured, and independent, with strong teamwork skills
