Adecco people
As the world leader in HR services and solutions, we aim high:
so high that we change and improve the way people work. Aspirations like these have to be based on substance, which at Adecco comprises three central pillars: our four Core Values, which define the areas where we aim to excel, and are a distillation of the fundamental attitude and character of our organisation; a set of Leadership Principles that express our attitude towards people management; and a Code of Conduct that provides the ethical and behavioural framework on which we base our actions.
Core Values
 |
Team spirit
Our work and best-practice exchange is based on mutual respect and trust. We co-operate across boundaries, branches and disciplines. Team, trust and talent are our keywords.
|

Customer focus
Our expertise lies in customising solutions and connecting the right people. We are committed to building long-term partnerships with our colleagues, associates and clients. The focus on people with a warm heart, cool head and working hands is our core competence.

|
Leadership Principles
 |
Cool head
People who have values and make decisions, who establish priorities, who can analyse and solve problems and who answer questions concretely and appropriately without letting their „sense of self“ cloud their answers.
|
 |
Warm heart
People who know how to reach out to other people’s hearts, who are able to make the most of others, appreciating and respecting them, and are able to focus the energies of their co-workers and colleagues on a common objective.
|
 |
Working hands
People who love their work and are willing to go the extra mile.

Participating in the Global Compact
The Adecco Group was the first in its industry to sign the United Nations Global Compact in 2003, and we have a continuing commitment to making its principles an increasing part of our culture and day-to-day operations.
Environmental Policy
Although our business of providing HR services is principally considered to be of low ecological impact, we recognise that our daily activities do have an effect on the environment.
Therefore, we are committed to environmental responsibility and take steps to reinforce this commitment.
Wherever we are operational, the applicable environmental regulations and laws will be regarded as setting the minimum standards of environmental performance.
Apart from this we will work to minimise the negative environmental impacts of our operations by reducing harmful emissions and waste.
To achieve this we will seek to decrease consumption of energy and materials. In particular, this means for our business
- saving, where practicable, electric and fossil energy used to keep our offices’ and their infrastructure running
- decreasing the amount of paper used and increasing the utilization of electronic documents
- increasing the proportion of environmentally friendly paper where paper still is needed
- encouraging the re-use and recycling of paper
- encouraging the use and recycling of other recyclable products
- encouraging our Business Units to incorporate environmental considerations into the procurement of goods and services
These and possible further environmental commitments will be reported in the Adecco Group’s corporate responsibility reports.
The Adecco Group expects that improving its environmental performance will save costs due to lower consumption of resources, thus helping to improve the Group’s overall performance.
