Wanda Rapaczynski

Wanda Rapaczynski was the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Polish media group Agora. Previously she held leading positions at Citibank. Today she serves as member of the board of trustees of the Central European University in Budapest. She is a member of the international advisory boards of Yale University and Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.

Between 1980 and 1982 she held the position of Project Director at the Family Television Research and Consultation Center at Yale. Before that she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Educational Testing Service in Princeton. She is a member of the Polish group in the Trilateral Commission, and she serves as President of the Supervisory Board of the Polish Union of Private Employers in Media and Advertising.

Ms. Rapaczynski is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for European Reform, an independent think-tank devoted to improving the quality of the debate on the future of the European Union.

Wanda Rapaczynski holds a Master's degree in management from Yale University and earned a PhD from the City University of New York in psychology.
